The Real Guru

Who is Disciple?

• Body, wealth, soul all these should be surrendered to Guru. Daily tread at the instance of Guru. Should not tread disregarding the word of Guru.
• If the Guru pleases, the wealth of salvation can be had within no time. It is difficult to get such a Guru who is able to cross the Samsara.
• The meaning of the syllable "Gu" is darkness and "Ru" is one who obstructs. One who obstructs darkness (Ignorance) is called Guru.
• After getting a Guru who is a symbol of wisdom, don't depend on another Guru. Hardword told by Guru may consider as best wishes.
• Whenever receives wordly or Vedic or spiritual knowledge from the Guru, firstly do Namaskar to him.
• After thus doing three Namaskar's guidance may be given in these lines. How it is that Gurubhakthi means do what Guru should do. Contempt of Guru is doing sin towards Guru Mentaly, Verblly and Physically. Remembrance of Guru itself is salvation. This effort should be continued not only during training stage, but till death.
• The sin occurs in telling untruths before Guru would not occur even in killing cow and Brahmin.
• Everything from Brahman to grass is my Guru's tradition. I am the worshipper of all. Who is there on earth without being worshipped by me. Thinking like this whoever living all loving is said to be disciple.
• With perfect mind consisting of many noble qualities, good characters etc., one who remains at the behest of Guru is said to be disciple.
