The human life is a small link in an endless chain of individual soul’s existence. The fallen soul undergoes repeated births and deaths untill the final liberation to reach the spiritual abode. For most of the living beings, transmigrations through various speceies is a very long journey. This journey has begun when they turned averse to God and entered the mundane sphere. The journey ends, only when the jivas reach their permanent home. In this almost endless journey associated with birth, death, old age, disease, grief, fear, sorrow, rebirth and so on, one needs proper guidance to proceed in right direction. In this universe filled with numberless living entities, every individual is travelling in various directions in pursuit of his desired fruits. Thus these entities continuing their endless journey can be compared with different trains that move in various directions. In such a case, the Vedic scriptures constitute the original guide that regulate the movements of all these trains. Unless the driver of the train adheres to the appropriate instructions, the train is bound to move in wrong directions reaching wrong destination at wrong times crashing with other trains getting derailed facing accidents and destruction. Regarding the speed of movement, duration of stops selection routes etc. one may have some options. But there is no option regarding the the final destination. Those who follow the guide and move towards the final destination with enthusiasm, determination and caution are bound to reach the goal in a shortest possible time. Whereas, those who move carelessly in wrong directions are bound to face failure. God has given a tiny free-will to all the sentient entities. for achieving success in life. Only those who use it rightly can achieve eternal peace, happiness and bliss. Every activity of the human beings should be conducted under the guidance of spiritual wisdom. According to Srimad Bhagavatam the action which pleases the Supreme Lord alone is known as the worthy action, as well as the knowledge that fixes one’s disposition at the Feet of the Supreme Lord is known as the real knowledge. Human beings have freedom in performing activities, but they are not free in selecting the fruits of their action. Therefore one should never conduct such activities, which produce bitter fruits. Noble activity conducted in a noble manner, with a noble intention can give noble results. A little carelessness and misguidance may create a great harm to the living beings. Gita is the theoretical essence of the Vedic teachings. Srimad Bhagavatam is the practical demonstration of the Vedic knowledge. Those who conduct themselves under the guidance of these two texts can safely and surely reach the divine abode full of infinite bliss. Let us pray the Lord for association with such exalted devotees.
